Dr. Hawk is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Gilbert, Arizona, and founder of Resilience Counseling and Assessment, LLC. Since 2019, she has dedicated her practice to helping individuals and families heal from emotional pain, rebuild trust, and restore balance after difficult life experiences.
Dr. Hawk provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, offering both individual and group sessions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her therapeutic focus centers on recovery from trauma and relational wounds, including childhood abuse, partner or family abuse, sibling rivalry, institutional trauma, narcissistic abuse, infidelity, and betrayal.
In her couples and family work, Dr. Hawk assists clients with premarital preparation, post-divorce adjustment, co-parenting challenges, and communication breakdowns. She also provides compassionate support for perinatal and postpartum depression, infertility, and pregnancy loss, helping clients navigate grief and rebuild resilience through evidence-based, emotionally attuned care.
Grounded in a multicultural and inclusive framework, Dr. Hawk’s practice welcomes clients from all backgrounds, including individuals who identify as racial or ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+, and members of diverse cultural and religious communities. She is deeply committed to understanding the social and cultural contexts that shape each client’s story and well-being.
Dr. Hawk integrates a broad range of therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of each individual. Her approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy, family systems work, trauma-focused interventions, and psychomotor therapy. The inclusion of psychomotor therapy reflects her belief in the mind–body connection—helping clients increase body awareness, release stored tension, and integrate emotional healing through somatic experiences.
As an active member of the Arizona Psychological Association, Dr. Hawk remains committed to professional growth and continuing education to ensure the highest quality of care. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Minot State University, a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, and a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.
